What Is the Difference between Family Friends and Partnership

All relationships maintain a different level of intimacy, whether it`s a romantic or family relationship or a friendship. Intimacy can involve sexual activity or affection, but it doesn`t necessarily have to be limited to these parameters, as it can be as simple as the ability to confide in the other party. Romantic relationships often consist of the three aspects listed, while family relationships and friendships usually do not involve sexual activity, but take on the attributes of affection and trust. Regardless of the nature of the relationship, all intimacy thrives when both parties are treated equally and maintain a high level of respect in their communication with each other. Friendship refers to a kind of relationship between different people who care about each other and freely exchange positive and bad news. Friendship is and is usually cultivated on honesty, reliability, loyalty, compromise and unconditional favor, among others. The degree of openness to emotions and feelings tends to vary from one friendship to another between one individual and the other. The level at which people share their feelings and emotions about different aspects of a friendship seems to be higher than the level at which people share their feelings and emotions in a relationship. You`ll likely talk to your friends about their perspective on the organization and its leadership, but it`s hard for an employee to tell the agency manager what they think of the company`s management. However, there are exceptions for different types of relationships, such as love and marriage, where people share their emotions and feelings with a high degree of openness.

Relationship love shares certain attributes with love for friends and family. In any case, a certain degree of care and dedication can be found. There is also always a risk of rejection, betrayal and abuse, regardless of the nature of the relationship. There is another type of overlap common to these relationships – friends can become lovers and lovers can become friends again. Friendship is part of romance, and romantic relationships can become family through marriage. Although Roberts and Dunbar found that family relationships stand the test of time, participants in their study were even more likely to contact friends than relatives. Adults generally tend to devote more energy to friendships than to family relationships, knowing that family ties are already strong and that maintaining friendship requires more contact. It is an individual`s decision to value friendship or a relationship or both. But it`s really important to understand the difference between the two. This article discusses the parameters on which romantic relationships and friendships are based.

It describes the main ideas that have been at the heart of all relationships and examines how each one varies under certain circumstances. The main points discussed in the article include intimacy, engagement, similarities and overlaps, as well as cultural variations. Whether it`s friendship or relationship, all connections are precious. We must always try to preserve them, and also remember not to take them for granted. Trust is another aspect of a healthy relationship. In the family environment, trust is important for the proper functioning of the family in everyday life. It is defined in the manual as “believing in the trustworthiness of another (which he or she will do as promised) and emotionally relying on the other to take care of our well-being and relationship” (p. 197).

In many relationships, trust does not come automatically, but due to the inner bond between parents, it is often shown in a family environment. Imagine a family that operates without trust. This family would be dysfunctional to say the least. This is not to say that trust makes a communicative and functional family, but it certainly helps. When we trust someone, we open ourselves to them through self-revelation. Self-disclosure occurs when one feels secure enough to reveal relevant personal information that the other is unlikely to discover in any other way. Once a piece of trust has been established, a participant may choose to share that information, build more trust, and share more personal information. Self-revelation is therefore a kind of cycle of trust. Another aspect of relationships discussed in the article is commitment. Similar to intimacy, the degree of commitment depends on the nature and stage of a relationship. Many factors play a role in the level of engagement in a relationship.

There are also different degrees of attachment in romantic relationships, depending on the stage of the relationship. For example, a married couple may show their commitment by promising to remain sexually faithful, while a couple may agree that school and/or family should come before their relationship. As mentioned in another article, romantic friends and lovers are more likely to agree on an appropriate level of engagement and communication, whereas in family relationships this may not be the case. Although family members can have many similarities, some family members differ greatly from each other in terms of personality, taste, or behavior. An article by Dena Kemmet of North Dakota State University`s Consumer and Family Science Extension Program argues that teens choose peers who resemble them, giving them social units that reflect their tastes and personalities. While peers provide an important support system for teens, Kemmet doesn`t mean parents become less important to their children during adolescence. A bond between two individuals can be based on love, trust, honesty, marriage or simply inbreeding. It is up to the individual to decide the bond that unites them. A bond in which two people are in a state of being together is friendship, if the bond is more than that, it can be called a relationship. The legal aspect exists in a relationship, but not in a friendship.

In case of disagreement between business partners, family members or marriage, legal intervention can be requested to resolve the dispute while allowing the law to enforce legal values. This explains why there are written documents in different types of relationships such as marriage, business partners and employees in relation to an employer relationship. The relationship is based to a large extent on a contractual basis or a legal aspect and not on an emotional attraction. On the other hand, the legal element is not available and cannot intervene in disputes between friends. It is important for the individual to understand that one cannot legally challenge mutual consideration in case of friendship. My type asked me to choose between relationship and friendship around 350 BC. J.-C., a Greek philosopher called three types of friendship – friendship for utility, a friendship of pleasure and friendship of good.. .
